13th & 14th April ’13 – Hired as childrens entertainer for 2 parties in Preston this weekend. The first was actually a wedding party at the Leyland hotel. Sophie (the bride) had quite a few child guests so required someone/something to keep them entertained during the drinks reception & throughout the afternoon! I provided my 1 hour magical fun show plus my garden games for the rest of the day.

Then on the Sunday I was somewhere near the Lostock Hall area of Preston. This time it was Alexis’s 5th birthday party. Alexis’s parents had booked me for a 3 hour party package which was due to take place in the back garden. However, on the day, the heavens opened! Leaving us no option but to move indoors. Luckily, the rained eased off a bit & we were still able to take a break in the back garden with the donkey rides that had been organised! Not sure they would have fitted in the living room!

So, I would normally offer my 2 hour party package for kids birthday parties, the first hour is taken up with my magical fun show which includes plate spinning, balloon modelling, fun magic & plenty of audience participation. Then we’d break for food, get the kids singing ‘happy birthday’ & finish up with more party oriented entertainment such as limbo & party games/dances.

Cost is £150 in the Preston area for the 2 hours. Then for any additional time, I charge £35 per hour which is mostly disco oriented. For other sorts of events such as weddings etc, I can just do the magical fun show which is £125 unless I can combine it with any other products or services in which case I may be able to put a package price together.
