23rd December ’12 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs McGovern who were celebrating at the fabulous West Tower which is hidden away in Aughton, Ormskirk. Nicola, the bride, had booked me to play from 7.30pm till midnight. However, the wedding breakfast was running over, so a bit later than that before we got started (not unusual!).
Their first dance was performed to Adele ‘One & Only’. Part way through the dance, I invited guests to join in, the floor filled up & stayed that way right through till our big finish & an encore to ‘Brightside’ which must have been one of their anthems!
