2nd November ’12 – Was hired as wedding DJ at the lovely Springfield House in Pilling, Lancashire. Mr & Mrs Kelly had booked me for their big day from 7.30pm till midnight.

Shortly afterwards, once we rounded everyone up, the bride & groom did a cake cutting, then performed their first dance as man & wife to Al Green ‘Lets stay together’. They’d asked me to follow this up with Womack & Womack ‘Teardrops’, which I thought was a slightly unusual choice (although personally I like the song, being an 80’s child!). However, it worked a treat & everyone joined in the dancing!
Shortly after the buffet, we got the main disco cranked up. Pete & Michelle had sent a playlist over with 30 or so songs, mostly fun party hits & quite a lot of 80’s which was all good!
Top night! & we even had a big finish to New York New York which is quite impressive in Springfield House as it hasn’t got the biggest dancing area for that sort of thing!
