13th October ’12 – Was hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Honeysett’s big day at the Strand Hotel on Blackpool sea front. First time I’ve played at this Blackpool hotel. Not a bad little function room really.
Martin & Hayley (the bride & groom) had picked Michael Buble ‘Everything’ as their first dance then give me a small selection of songs which they liked, which were mainly current chart hits like Gangnam Style (the theme of the stag do!) & Bom Bom! We also had Party Rock Anthem for the best man who liked to do a bit of shuffling once drunk enough!
Had this message on my facebook page a few days later ‘Hi Andy, thanks for a great party atmosphere at our wedding on Saturday. Anyone who can get my Grandad to get up and dance to gangnam style is a legend in my books! Many thanks Mr & Mrs Honeysett’
