5th October ’12 – Had 2 of our mobile DJ’s out in Preston. I was acting as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Lee at the Leyland Hotel. They had actually got married on a cruise ship but were celebrating the wedding with an evening reception at the Leyland Hotel. They had an entrance worked out to Chris Brown ‘Forever’ with some of their friends joining in! Then they had some speeches & a first dance to KC & Jojo ‘all my life’. Bizarrely, I’ve not played this song for around 10 years, then 2 seperate couples have picked it for their first dance.

After their first dance, I invited guests to join the bride & groom on the dance floor & away we went! In fairness, not the busiest wedding reception I’ve played too, but unlike some smaller parties that can fizzle out around midnight, I somehow managed to keep this lot dancing through till 1am! So, mission accomplished!
