18th August ’12 – Hired as wedding DJ for Debbie & Trevor’s big day at Singleton Lodge. Singleton Lodge hotel is a beautiful little wedding venue in Lancashire near Poulton Le Fylde.
The wedding breakfast/speeches had over run slightly so we got the cake cutting & first dance underway pretty much as soon as we’d managed to get everyone back into the room. For the first dance, they’d chosen Lifehouse ‘You & Me’.
Debbie also wanted to have a dance with her father which they did to Guns n Roses ‘sweet child of mine’. They’d also put a song list together which was mostly current chart favourites. Although they had included ‘Oops upside your head’! which was a wind up for the groom!
All in all a top night, massive finish to ‘Rule the World’ & ‘Empire State of Mind’. Had the following email from Debbie –
‘Hi Andy, Trev and I just wanted to say a big thank you for DJ’ing for us on Saturday. It was a great night and everyone had a fab time. It was just what we were after! Thanks so much!
