25th August ’12 – Was hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe’s big day at Park Hall Hotel, Chorley. They were celebrating in the Medieval Suite (although it wasn’t a Medieval themed wedding!). They had booked me to play from 3pm through till 1am! As well as the evening reception, I was also covering the wedding breakfast which involved playing some suitable light dinner music & providing them with a wireless microphone for the speeches. After food, they had booked some fun casino tables which were set up in another room (Eccleston suite if you know the venue), whilst we got ready for the evening reception.

Corinna had a dance with her father to Bob carlisle ‘butterfly kisses’ followed by their first dance was performed  to a remix of ‘the time of my life’ (BEP & the original), then we got the party started! As well as the disco, we also had live music from a singer friend of theirs which went well. Top night in fact! Dance floor was pretty much full the whole night. Some of the bride’s friends wanted to wind her up with ‘oops upside your head’ which was fun actually (although not normally on my playlist!)
