26th August ’12 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Jordan at Norton Grange Hotel & Spa in Rochdale. They had hired me to cover the wedding breakfast as well as the evening reception. So, I got set up for approx 4pm ready for guests arriving from 4.30pm. Through the wedding breakfast I provided suitable background music plus a wireless microphone for speeches.
The evening reception started around 7.45pm & we had the cake cutting, first dance & jessica (the bride) had a dance with her father around 8.45pm. They performed their first dance to ‘Hungry Eyes’ from Eric Carmen & the dance with her dad was to ‘I loved her first’ from Heartland.
We had the buffet around 9.15pm then it was party time! The bride & groom sent me a short playlist with some of their favourites which were a mix of popular classics & some chart music & a couple of guest requests which took us nicely up to 1am!
