21st August ’12 – Was hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Bartholomew at the Imperial hotel, Blackpool. This historic 4 star Victorian hotel on Blackpool sea front makes an ideal setting for weddings in Blackpool.
This was quite an intimate wedding party in the Louis room which is one of the smaller function rooms overlooking the sea front.
Debbie, the bride, had asked me to play Luther Vandross ‘Here & Now’ during the cake cutting. Then, for their first dance, they went with Labi Siffre ‘I will always love you’
Also, throughout the night, the bride & groom had requested music from the Drifters, Temptations, Beegees, George Benson & even Abba! Of course, I was also happy to take requests from guests on the night.
A most pleasant evening had by all & all the best to Mr & Mrs Bartholomew!
