10th August ’12 – Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Hutchinson at Buile Hill Park Hall. 2nd time I’ve played at Buile Hill Park Hall, although first time for a wedding. It’s a nice function room complete with stage & dance floor overlooking a nice garden which they put to good use by having a BBQ out there. On this occasion, the top table was set up on the stage, so I set up at the side of the stage.

Their first dance was to the Bangles ‘Eternal Flame’. Kirsty, the bride, also had a dance with her grandad to ‘Because you loved me’ by Celine Dion. For the rest of the evening, Kirsty had asked for mostly modern chart music which was fine with me, although we did have one or two requests for the wedding classics which I duly played & proved to be very popular! All the best to Mr & Mrs Hutchinson!
