26th July ’12 – Another stonkin’ night at Stirk House! Hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Beattie at the fab Stirk House Hotel in Gisburn, Clitheroe. They booked me to play from 7pm till midnight, plus they’d also hired 2 fun casino tables for after the wedding breakfast through the first hour of the evening reception (6pm till 8pm).
The casino tables have been really popular at Stirk House & with wedding parties in general. 2 tables are usually enough for a small to medium sized wedding. Blackjack & Roulette are the best 2 table combination & work well in the lounge area at Stirk House.
Their first dance was to Bob Marley ‘One Love’ then we cracked on with a selection of all the biggest party hits which kept the floor rockin’ right through till midnight (apart from a little break for the buffet). Julia, the bride had a few singer friends who got up to sing a number throughout the night too which was very well recieved.
