28th July ’12 – Another wild night at Beeston Manor! Mr & Mrs Govier hired me to be their wedding DJ for their big day at Beeston Manor. Beeston Manor is a lovely little wedding venue on the outskirts of Preston in an area called Hoghton. We soon got the evening started properly with the bride & groom’s first dance as a married couple performed to Adele ‘Make you feel my love’. They had asked me to follow this up with Luther Vandross ‘Never Too Much’. The dance floor filled up straight away & stayed that way right through till the end of the night which is midnight at Beeston Manor.

Carla, the bride, had sent me a fairly short list of requests & this message – 

‘We did have requests but we trust you to play a mix of classic and current pop and rock songs i.e. the killers to lady gaga to bon jovi to Foo Fighters. I’m sure there will be plenty more requests on the night too. We are into any type of music really.’

I did my best for them & it certainly seemed to work! Wild night! They had also asked for a couple of songs to finish off the evening; ‘Always’ from Bon Jovi then the Rembrandts ‘I’ll be there for you’. As the dance floor was packed & still buzzing, I then played everyone out with a final rendition of their first dance. All the very best to mr & Mrs Govier!
