27th May ’12 – Was pleased to be hired as wedding DJ at West Tower for the evening reception of Gemma Merna & Ian Minton. Gemma is an actress & glamour model best known for playing Carmel in Hollyoaks. Ian is a property developer from Liverpool. West Tower is a fab setting for a wedding party! This country house estate set in 8 acres of hill top country side in Aughton on the outskirts of Ormskirk dates back to 1785.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to take any photos as ‘Hello’ magazine had paid for an exclusive of the day. Hopefully, I’ll get a couple of their photos once they are published!
Fab night! Quite a large evening reception with over 200 guests. After a little warm up set from me, we had live entertainment from the ‘Globe Girls’, a Burlesque style act of 3 show ‘girls’! They were complemented by sexy singer Nikki Belle & then we had more music from X Factor’s ‘2 shoes’. Once the live entertainment was over, it was time for their first dance which they performed to Lonestar ‘Amazed’. Straight after this I went into the main disco set, which kept the floor packed right through to the big finale & past the finishing time.
