22nd June ’12 – Hired to provide my disco & casino package for a wedding party at Stirk House in Gisburn, Clitheroe. Mr & Mrs Gaynor were celebrating their big day at this lovely wedding venue on the outskirts of Clitheroe. Even though the whole day had endured torrential rainfall, it couldn’t dampen the high spirits inside Stirk House!
They had hired 2 casino tables, the Blackjack & Roulette, for 2 hours gaming to take place after the wedding breakfast from 6.30pm till 8.30pm in the lounge area. To say our fun casino tables were popular is a bit of an understatement, I couldn’t actually get into the lounge to take any photos of the casino tables in action as it was packed!
Eventually, guests filtered through to the function suite for the evening reception. Their first dance was performed to Snow Patrol ‘Chasing Cars’, then they had give me a list of music they liked which was mostly modern chart & party hits with a few classics thrown in which is no problem for me! Another great, fun wedding party! A pleasure to DJ at. We also did a big finish to ‘New York New York’
