11th May ’12 – Hired to DJ for the wedding party of Mr & Mrs Mann at cafe Ambio in Astley Park, Chorley. Nice little venue for a wedding party. Their first dance was performed to James Morrison ‘I won’t Let you Go’, then they had asked to play Foo Fighters ‘These days’ for the groom’s mum (a dedication from her grandson). After this, they wanted 80’s music right through to the last hour which was good fun! Got to play all those cheesy pop hits that everyone knows all the words too without any embarrassment! Nice atmosphere too, everyone got into the spirit of the theme! Around 10.30pm we invited everyone out into the grounds to let off some chinese lanterns, most actually worked! Must not have been that windy! Then for the last hour, I turned the music around into current chart favourites from the likes of Rihanna, Guetta, Maroon 5, Flo Rida etc which was a great contrast & very popular! We wrapped it up with a big finale to ‘I’ve had the time of my life’.
