4th May ’12 – Was hired as wedding DJ for Mr & Mrs Prendergast’s big day at Mitton Hall on the outskirts of Clitheroe, Lancashire. As well as my DJ services, they had also hired top Take That tribute band ‘Take That 2’ (I suspect this was the bride’s/hens idea!). After a warm up set from me, it was time to invite the bride & grooom to perform their first dance as a married couple. They did this to ‘Just the way you are – amazing’ from Bruno Mars. The bride also wanted to do a dance with her father to Westlife ‘you raise me up’. Everyone got up dancing then until the buffet which made for a nice atmosphere. Sometimes, guests aren’t ‘watered’ enough for much dancing at this early stage! A short buffet break, then it was time for the ‘boys’ to take to the stage! The 4 pc on this occasion (no Robbie). They perform an excellent 75 minute choregraphed show with all of Take That’s biggest hits that even the men were singing along too by the end! How does a DJ top Take That?! Well, I can’t really, but everyone stayed up dancing till the end which was good enough for me!
