4th & 5th May ’12 – Andy B Events were pleased to be involved in the AOP conference (Association of Optometrists) taking place in Blackpool at the Imperial hotel. We provided entertainment for both nights of this annual event which is often held in the North West.

Friday night was an informal dinner & karaoke/disco. DJ Stu ran the night to great success – https://andybevents.co.uk/2011/02/events-dj-blackpool/

Saturday night was the big night! We had 4 *showgirls/dancers to meet & greet during the drinks reception then to provide a 15 minute floor show to start off the entertainment. This was followed by live music from our great covers band, ‘Groove Nation’ – https://andybevents.co.uk/2011/01/modern-covers-band-northwest/

We also had 2 of our fun casino tables serving as peripheral entertainment after dinner which were very popular, as they always are for these types of events. & DJ Stu was back as the DJ/host for the evening.

Spoke to the client a couple of days after the event. He was delighted how successful it had all been. He said he had never seen/heard a band like it, they had been the talk of the conference & filled the dance floor better than he could have imagined! He thought DJ Stu & the dancers did an excellent job & the casino tables had a constant crowd playing round them!
