24th March ’12 – Hired as wedding DJ for James & Hazel’s big day at the Savoy Hotel on Blackpool sea front. They had booked me from 7.30pm till 1am. Around 8.30pm I gathered everybody around the dance floor for their first dance which was performed to Take That ‘Rule the World’. They had then asked me to follow this up with Bruno Mars ‘Just the way you are, amazing’ & Stevie Wonder ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ which worked quite nicely & brought us up to the buffet.

After food, it was time for the main disco & I’d been given quite a large playlist beforehand which consisted of mostly mainstream chart & party music so no worries there. I also had a few requests on the night which brought us nicely up to 12.30am. By this time the bride & groom were ready for bed, so we did a big finish to Green Day ‘time of your life’ & ‘Loch Lomond’ (for the Scottish guests) as requested of course!
