24th April ’12 – Was hired as DJ for the USDAW conference taking place in Blackpool this week. USDAW (Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers). This is an annual event which I am pleased to say I have been involved in for 3 years. They have a big party night in the Spanish Hall which is within the Winter Gardens complex in Blackpool. The Spanish Hall is quite the spectacular art deco venue which comfortably holds 500 guests.

Great atmosphere all night! & a full dance floor (which takes some doing!), I finally wrapped it up around 12.15am with a massive finish to ‘Loch Lomond’ (quite a few Scottish guests to show everyone how it was done!)
