25th Feb ’12 – Was hired to DJ at a house in Middleton! The event was Kev’s 50th birthday party. Him & his wife decided to throw a party for around 50 guests at their fairly large home in Middleton. I was positioned at the bottom of the hallway, (blocking off the pool!), with speakers positioned down the hall & in the lounge, I also put lights up in the lounge & a laser effect down the hall which looked pretty cool!
Played a few requests & kept the atmosphere bubbling along through the early part of the evening, then after food & a few renditions of ‘Happy Birthday’ we got the party going. Everyone seemed well up for a good time! Maybe the leathal cocktails had helped! Probably the funniest moment was when someone suggested ‘Oops upside your head’, of course I obliged & managed to get most the guests sat in a line down the hall!
The evening was a great success, so much so that they’d only booked me till midnight, but asked me to keep on going till 1am.
