17th March ’12 – Hired as kids entertainer for Grace’s 5th birthday party at Stockport Cricket Club. Her parent’s had booked my 2 hour party package which is ideal for 4 to 7 year old birthday parties in a hired hall of some description. We start off with some disco music & a go at plate spinning as the children arrive, then I sit them down for my magical fun show which fills up the first hour. As well as magic, it also includes balloon modelling, a party dance or 2 & the odd competition. I then get all the children to do a Conga round the room & lead them to the food tables. After they have eaten, I’ve found to be a good time to get everybody to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ & blow the candles out on their cake! This then leaves us with approx 30 minutes where I do more party oriented fun such as the Limbo competition & musical games. On this occasion, the parents had prepared a ‘pass the parcel’ which I hosted for them. This isn’t essential but some still find it popular! This filled up the 2 hours nicely & was a very successful party!
