4th February ’12 – My first kids party of the day was at Elswick Women’s Institute. A very nice hall for parties, complete with stage which is handy when you have a lot of rowdy children! I’d been hired as Kids entertainer for Grace’s 5th birthday party. They had the 2 hour party package which works a treat! We start off with 10 minutes or so of disco as the children arrive, I also give the kids already there a go at plate spinning. Then we sit them all down for the magical fun show which takes up the first hour & includes getting the birthday boy or girl up to help with some magic, balloon modelling, & some party fun! I’d normally then get all the children to do a conga around the room before getting them to the food tables! After they have eaten, I’ve found to be a good time to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ (or towards the end of the party). Then we have approx 30 mins of more party fun including the limbo competition & party dances.

In Elswick, expect to pay £150 for this 2 hour kids entertainment package which is ideally suited for 4-7 year olds in a hall or function room.
