22nd February ’12 – Was gigging at the Renaissance Hotel, London Heathrow. It was for the National Cancer Registration Conference. They were holding a 2 day event at this contemporary hotel located at London’s heathrow airport. After a day in conferences, the evening was an informal dinner & disco in the Wessex Ballroom. I’d been hired to DJ from 7pm through dinner with background music, then get the party started once dinner had finished. We had approx 200 guests which made for a good atmosphere & they were certainly ready to let their hair down for the evening! It was great fun to DJ for this event, we had a full dance floor pretty much throughout the whole evening with a wide variety of tastes in music, I was taking plenty of requests from guests on the night & threw in a little banter with them too!
